Publishing Catalogs to Mobile Devices: Over the past few months we built a new HTML5 viewer for the iPad and in February we redesigned our iOS and Android smartphone viewers from the ground up. The result? Beautiful publications with simple, intuitive navigation that bring out the best of our users’ content.
The response for these viewers has been truly overwhelming (in a good way). In fact, it’s been so positive that one of our customers decided to include the publication viewer in their native mobile app. Our friends over at Hunkemöller, an international lingerie chain, recently launched the Hunkemöller App for both the iOS and Android ecosystems.
The app allows consumers in the Netherlands and Germany to collect points through the digital Membercard each time they make an in-store purchase. Members receive €10 worth of shopping credits for every 100 points collected.
Also, the app presents the latest lingerie news through Hunkemöller’s digital So Me Magazine. The integrated magazine feature was built using the Publitas mobile viewers to engage users and drive conversion.
